Tamworth FC head into a home clash with Biggleswade Town this Saturday with joint boss Gary Smith hoping for a selection boost.
Aaron Forde is set to return from suspension while Dexter Walters could also be available for the Lambs who drew 1-1 with Royston Town last Saturday.
“We will look to build on Saturday’s performance now and we should hopefully have a few bodies back,” said Smith.
“We will have Fordey (Aaron Forde) available for one and he’s a key player for us, a good ball player and strong in the midfield, someone who makes us tick.
“So he will add a dimension to our game and hopefully that’s the last time he’ll be out for a while now because it’s important we have people of his calibre to call upon.
“Dexter Walters should return to training this week as well. We’ll have a look and see where he is after training, assess him and see where he is. He’s someone who can excite the crowd and it’ll be good to have him back in the squad.
“We are not expecting an easy ride against Biggleswade this weekend. It’s a match where we will have to dig deep and show some purpose and tempo to our game.
“We want to make our ground a fortress where we don’t concede goals and we win games. It’s been a decent enough start, two wins, three draws and a loss. We now just have to make sure we start firing on all cylinders.”
